- AUTOMATE 2015 Retrospective of XIMEA products
XIMEA team was pleased to receive many new visitors and a lot of familiar guests and partners at our booth #1188.
We would like to sincerely thank everyone for sincere interest and thoughtful questions!
AUTOMATE 2015 in Chicago was after Photonics West another remarkable show in USA for XIMEA and successful beginning of the exhibition activities in the year without Vision in Stuttgart.
Instead of presenting new camera families, XIMEA concentrated on showcasing the additional options of customization and upcoming versions of the well known product lines.
xiQ - the smallest USB3 Vision compatible camera family, received the most attention as usual with its wide range of models and its board level versions or OEM options with angled connectors and NIR (Near Infrared) choices.
xiD - USB 3.0 models with CCD sensors from 2 Mpix to 12 Megapixel were not far from favorites with their 4 TAPs ensuring fastest speed as well as their ability of being bus powered through USB3 cable. Discussions with customers revealed that their understanding of USB3 Vision technology is now on high level resulting in realization of the necessity to switch from their current solution.
Big hit was of course the smallest Hyperspectral cameras based on USB 3.0 interface, providing a vast variety of application opportunities.
Among other camera lines XIMEA showed established products and prepared OEM solutions like: PCI Express cameras offering 12 and 20 Mpix with incredible speed utilizing its 20 Gbit/sec bandwidth, Thunderbolt™ technology enabled cameras, X-RAY cameras with 11 or 16 Mpix and Peltier Cooling, Subminiature cameras with 5 Mpix and others that generated hundreds of inquiries and leads.
