Firmware Limitations¶

Firmware (V2_60) has following known limitations:

• No authentification (users/passwords)
  There is no needed any access passwords to configure the camera.

• Real Time Clock (RTC) is not supported
  Time is reset to 1970-01-01 upon each power up.

• Changing time on camera while streaming
  If time is changed while streaming, the RTP video stream is interrupted.
  It can be connected again immediately after the change.

• Resolution setting from ONVIF client (e.g. Milestone) is not possible
  To change resolution use Video Streams menu the Web Browser.

• Video stream is interrupted upon change of encoder or resolution
  If user changes the encoder type or resolution, all video streaming is restarted.
  Streams with changed resolutions or encoders are available within 15 seconds.

• Audio recording and/or playback is not supported although hardware has ready to one microphone and one speaker connection.
