Firewire Windows7 Microsoft Hotfix¶

Conditions¶

• XIMEA Firewire (IEEE1394) camera
• Host OS: Windows 7 or Windows 2008R2

Problem description¶

If user is using XIMEA camera with Firewire (IEEE1394) interface then it is possible, that sometimes acquisition hangs.

Solution¶

• Read Microsoft knowledge article
• Request fix from Microsoft
• Install it to host computer
